Telekidney: website revamp with a Wagtail-powered blog
A referral from Bandika: we revamped a virtual kidney-care provider's website and added a blog its team manages itself through Wagtail.
The challenge
Telekidney provides virtual nephrology care and kidney-health education. It needed a refreshed website for patients and providers, and a way to publish educational articles regularly without relying on a developer for every post.
What we did
- Revamped the website's design and structure around Telekidney's audiences: patients, providers and people looking for kidney-health information.
- Built the site on Wagtail, the Django-based content management system, giving the team dynamic blog management: drafting, editing, publishing and organising articles from an admin dashboard.
- Set up the blog section, now live and publishing articles on topics such as estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), Alport syndrome and diabetic retinopathy.
The result
Telekidney now runs a modern website with a blog its own team keeps up to date, publishing kidney-health education on its schedule.
